Wayfinding Markings On The Jones Falls Trail

The incredibly helpful wayfinding marking on the Gwynns Falls Trail can now be found on the completed sections of the Jones Falls Trail.

Where would one find a map of the completed sections of the Jones Falls Trail?

  • Bike Blaze Guy

The blazes extend from Lanvale and Charles (near Penn Station and the Charles Theater) to Clipper Road at Rockrose Ave. (north of Druid Hill Park). A map of the blazed section is at http://goo.gl/maps/ZlJjT .For those going away from downtown, the blazes give you a choice of
going around Druid Lake counterclockwise (the short direction) or
clockwise (the longer, more scenic direction).
If you want a sneak peak of the nearly complete section between Clipper Road and Cold Spring Lane, and are riding on an evening or weekend when the construction workers aren’t there, continue north on Clipper Road another block and you’ll see the new section. It looks like a good ride. There’s a fence blocking access at the Cold Spring end.
Once the section from the Inner Harbor to Charles and Lanvale is (finally!) completed, I’ll blaze it if it needs wayfinding help. I think it’s scheduled to be done by spring.

     Ah, thanks very much!
