    Progress on Lanvale St?

    It’s not the “official” progress we’re hoping for, but it IS keeping more cars out of the bike lane. (Thanks to Light St Cycles for the picture)

      The idea came up during Tuesday’s Mayor’s Bicycle Advisory Committee, but more calls to 311 are encouraged to expedite the sign correction.

      Clearly I don’t understand the red tape that is involved. It’s just a misplaced sign held in by 2 standard bolts. Randall Scott is aware. All that is needed is a step ladder and a wrench, not unlike the step ladder that was used to tape up this notice, assessed after Mayoral Advisory committee? Baffling.

      Ugh. You have no idea about the red tape. That was my biggest adjustment to life in the public sector. When I was a consultant, you did the work or didn’t get paid, without filling out a million forms.

      Two cars parked in it when I went by half an hour ago, one with a note on the windshield alerting the driver to where they were parked and that they would receive a ticket.

      Nothing like red tape standing in the way of the safety of Baltimore residents! I already e-mailed the Mayor’s office expressing my opinion on this.
