Family Bike Party Rides This Weekend

February 15th, 2013 | Categories: Events | Post Comment

DSC07844_cThe Baltimore Family Bike Party is breaking its winter hiatus for a brief spin on Saturday morning.  This time, the Family Bike Party invades the quiet neighborhood streets of SoWeBo (southwest Baltimore) ending at the B&O Railroad Museum.  The group will meet at James McHenry Elementary School playground on Hollins Street between S. Poppleton and S. Schroeder Streets at 9:30 am.

The ride will end about 11:30 am at the B&O Railroad Museum which is offering half-price admission to celebrate the museum’s recovery from a major roof collapse ten years ago. The museum is also offering free admission in February to any Maryland Zoo members.

UPDATE 2/15/13 11:15 am: A quick weather related update! Tomorrow morning, the weather prediction is calling for snow/rain and temperatures in the mid-30s. If it feels unsafe to ride than the ride will move to Sunday morning, still a bit cold but it should be clear and sunny. Any questions? Post to Facebook
